Hey there . I am new to this forum and i do know how they work so i'll just get straight to the point .
So this morning my lil bro was using my phone . he downloaded almost half of the games play store has to offer ( he spent about 60 of my 128GB of storage ) in one morning . I don't know if this really has to do with the problem , but i thought it was a system overload or something . Btw my phone is a Google pixel 2 , i have had it for around a year and 3 months ... the same problem happened to my samsung J5 in 2017 ... but i couldn't fix it ...
Anyway at around 1pm the battery died , i put it in charge and me being stupid i turned on the phone instantly since my bro was whining . I gave it to him and told him to use it while it was plugged in . Of course , he didn't listen .. he took it out .. potentially breaking the charger and then using it to download the remaining half of the play store .. the battery died within 8 minutes .. i told him just to leave the phone ... later around 3pm i tried to use the phone . Sadly it didn't turn on ... i was confused , usually my phone would be around 70% at the least by now ... i tried checking if it was unplugged or something .. i tried checking if the charger was broken .. everything ...
Around 7 I lost all hope .. for three damn hours i tried everything ... i was gonna contact support but guess what .... i don't have a phone to use due to my brother using it like there was no tomorrow . And apparently they are good for nothing .
So i will now explain what is happening . i have tried many solutions on YouTube and none of them worked . But i don't know how somehow after countless hours of trial and error i turned on the phone .. i was so excited i didn't think of at least putting on a battery saver or safe mode ... it turned of instantly . anyway so i tried the thing where you have to reboot it and stuff and nothing worked .. when i try to go the boot menu using power button and the volume up/ down it doesn't take me to the boot menu . instead it pops up the battery logo and disappears a second after .. i'm not really sure how to turn it off completely but when i finally get on the boot menu , i click on recovery mode and it goes through a mini BSOD / boot loop and goes back ... i really cannot live without my phone .. please reply with a adequate answer ASAP.. do i need a new charger ... is it a problem with my hardware or software .... So basically my phone won't turn on anymore ...
