Hi, I have a new Samsung Galaxy S10+ along with a number of other Android devices (kindle, other android phones, etc). I've also recently purchased the Anker PowerWave Pad (A2503).

Can you recommend an Anker power supply that's appropriate for this? What is the amperage that's needed to charge using "Fast charging"? Does this support "super fast charging" wirelessly?

I have a number of 2A chargers, including a Samsung 5.3V/2A charger (EP-TA10JWE). Is that sufficient?

This page says the S10+ supports "super fast charging" as well as Power Delivery. Am I reading that right?

I also have the Anker PowerPort 2 (A2141), but that does not appear to be sufficient to fast-charge wirelessly. This is 2.4A per port. I thought 2A per port would be sufficient for fast charging?

If I purchased the PowerPort 2 with power delivery, would I be able to have the USB port connected to the powerpad *or* the USB-C port (PD port) connected to the phone for super fast charging when needed?

If someone could help me understand the current charging methods that are best for the S10+, I'd appreciate it. I also have a number of older chargers. What is the minimum that is useful? I'm ready to toss some of the old 1A/500ma chargers. I'm not even sure they work with current kindle's, etc.

This stuff does get complicated, especially when you need to ask what version of each standard a particular device supports.

I'm pretty sure that "superfast" charging is wired only (in fact requires USB PD 3.0 according to that specification page).

According to Anker the PowerWave Pad requires a QC 2.0 or 3.0 power supply for fast wireless charging. You might think "surely a 5V/2A charger can supply 10W?", but wireless charging is inefficient so I expect it requires a more powerful source to power fast charging. Certainly Anker say that a 5V/2A supply will only allow standard wireless charging (a QC 2+ charger can produce 9V/2A or 5V/3A if requested by the appliance).

That page claims that the PowerPort 2's USB port is PowerIQ 2.0 compatible, which should be able to drive fast wireless charging, and as the superfast charging is actually 25W USB PD charging. The PowerPort II can supply 30W, so it's powerful enough. But the Samsung spec sheet says PD 3.0, and I cannot confirm whether the PowerPort 2 is PD 2.0 or 3.0, nor whether the S10 superfast charging actually needs the features of PD 3.0 or whether it will really superfast charge with a PD 2.0 charger anyway (if you believe Samsung it will only superfast charge with their own charger, but then they would say that, wouldn't they). So all I can say on that is that it will probably do everything you ask, but I can't guarantee it.

It might be a little difficult to match all your devices in terms of voltage. Just make sure to use the original/designated products for your Samsung phone. The fast charging feature is compatible with power adapter and cable, along with wireless. For the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, Super-Fast Charging is compatible with power adapter and cable. The Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 is compatible with Wireless Charger Duo Pad that supports 10W+ wireless charging.
