hello,

today, I reseted my phone to factory setting. unfortunately, afterwards I could not log into cloud even before it was not an issue. there is the error message "This service is not available for the country or region where your HUAWEI ID is registered.".
can you, please, help me to fix this problem?

thank you
best regards
Martin

I still don't understand why a phone must be linked to a Sim card :(

They are in China. Any online accounts such as Huawei ID, must be linked to a verified phone number with a real identity. And in the absence of Google in the PRC, factory reset protection is done by the registered phone number. To verify or clear the Huawei ID, it's done by sending an SMS with a code to the original registered phone number. And if you don't have service with that phone number, you can't clear it, and you're locked out. As this is an anti-theft security feature, there is no bypass AFAIK.

Suggest the OP posts the full model number of his P10, like does it end in "00", which means it's a China variant for Huawei and Honor phones.

Huawei ID?

Was this phone originally bought in China, and the Huawei ID registered there?

It sounds like you've activated the factory reset protection(FRP), but international Huaweis should have Google account verification and not Huawei ID.

the phone was bouth in Czech republic as the new one and I did the first registration here. what is full model number?? there is somelike WAS-LX1A

Yeh that's the full model number and variant. Which according to this site, should be an international P10 Lite.

Did you register a Huawei ID in the Czech Republic using a Czech mobile number and SIM?

I've only used and registered a Huawei ID in China, on a PRC variant Mate 10. And that can only be reset and verified using my original Chinese phone number it was registered with. And if I wished to change the phone number and country, I must first verify and deregister the Chinese carrier SIM and number first. As it is an FRP feature.
