Accessories Screen Protectors - do you plan to get/use one?

Hi everybody, I just my Note 10+ yesterday at T-mobile. I am so excited. But to ask you all, I am trying to decide which screen protector to get. Alot of people are raving about the Whitestone Dome Note 10+ Screen Protector. See below for link: Also since I am T-Mobile, Pure-Gear also has a Glass Tempered Screen Protector. The Whitestone Dome looks nice, but It's kind of compliated to use. I am in New York City and I don't know who here can install it for me. I am scared I might mess it up. I've seen the videos demo but it looks complicated.

Where the Pure-Gear seems easy. Also Pure-Gear has a lifetime warranty on it's screen protectors. If on the Pure-Gear Protecter cracks, Pure-Gear will send a replacement, free (only thing you have to pay is $10 shipping I believe). I don't know if the Whitestone Dome has a lifetime warranty.

Can anyone offer any opinions? Any feedback is welcomed. Thank you all...Here are the links to the Screen Protectors.

I've preferr the Whitestone as I don't like plastic protectors.

But plastic protectors SHOULD work with the fingerprint scanners.

The only standard glass protector I've seen that claims to work with the S10 is Flolab's, but they don't have a Note 10 yet.

https://flolab.io/collections/glass-screen-protectors/galaxy-s10

And I can't find any S10 specific reviews for it.
is this easy to put on? i am terrible at putting protectors. everytime in the past i tried to do it myself, i get bubbles or dirt and even hair inside it and then i just wasted a protector.

zaag i like cuz they can do it for me and i do not have to worry about it ever.

We'll find out this afternoon...

The installation videos provided seem both convoluted yet simple.

I plan to record my own attempt.

Yes, it's very easy to put on. I too normally have someone else put them on, but I easily installed on my Note 8, and I have it on order for my Note 10+ (first thing I bought even before a case today).

I procrastinated on doing the pre-order for the phone until last night when I figured my monthly payment with Verizon with the trade in would be less than what my montly payments were for the Note 8. Unfortunately, that means mine isn't showing to ship until Sept 10th......sigh......

So as promised, here is my installation video...

It's 22 minutes long, and it's not particular great quality.

But I hope it helps.

I made 1 mistake, I forgot to use the speaker cover sticker, but everything seems ok.

The front camera is a little more noticeable now, because of the future in the glass for it, but other than that it seems flawless.

The fingerprint scanner worked first time WITHOUT reregistering the fingerprints. Yes, it's not as snappy as it was without, bit it's more than usable.

I'm concerned my Spigen Tough Armor case is touching the top of the glass, which may cause it to lift, only time will tell.

EDIT: I'm not certain, but I think I may have got glue in the TINY speaker grill :'(.

Thankfully there is an additional hole on the top of the phone, so I can still use it.

Take note and use that sticker!

I've installed the Whitestone and love it.

I won't use ANY protector that needs a thumb cutout as that will interfere with Swype style keyboards, and drawing with the spen.

If I cannot get a professional installation at a Mall Stall I'm not using a screen protector.

I'm a serious perfectionist and won't settle for less than 100#.. Im more than happy with my own LK install that I did yesterday. Fairly easy to be honest to get as good a finish as factory installed one. Fingerprint support is equally as good as Samsung one. I use a shocksock when out and about. Links to both below.

I'll say it again. I cannot find fault with the pre-installed Samsung screen protector. It keeps visible fingerprints away, feels like glass and is 95% resposive for the fingerprnt sensor. I'll only change if that gets damaged. At such a time I will re-read this but may be inclined to go again with a trusted one than try another.

Professional HAHAHAHAHA some minimum wage kid standing there, second day on the job, applying your screen protector and they're a "professional"

:D:D:D

It's okay if you don't want to deal with it, Bobby - but after a couple of applications YOU will be the professional. Really!

In the olden days of Note 4 and below I used to get the odd bubble so went to a shopping centre stall that wanted to charge a tenner. They got less bubbles than me and I refused to pay more than a fiver. They tried but there was still a bubble. I had paid for the sheet.

Loved the glass ones for the Note 8 that just gripped on the curve and came with the application frame to line them up for cheap but as I bought cheap they did tend to be more of a fingerprint magnet than the base screen but were really responsive. Obviously not going to work on the 10+ for fingerprint.

Still dreading having to remove the factory installed one if it is UV glued on.

I'm glad you had success with the glass ones, Bodestone - but mine would just pop back off. Or get dirt/dust under the edges. They were disasters.
Probably a combination of luck, an immense amount of reviiew readig comparing the 5s to the 1s and rviewmetta.com that weeds out the fake reviews if it can. Ordered same again on the first brilliant ne and got a fake (amazon directed me to a different seller) so it can be a lottery. Fully refunded though and found the original seller again, mainly due to a growing crack from vape pen in same pocket but wasn't critical before the real replacement arrived.

Same. The oem one was perfect. Unfortunately it was tired and failed after 6 months.

Zagg's Invisishield is what i always go with. i only wish that they made one for the back. i dropped my phone with a cheap case. it protected the front screen, but the back of the phone is cracked. gonna get it replaced thru best buy's geek squad protection at some point. the reason why i like zagg is because they have a booth inside a mall near me where if the shield gets cracked i pay $15 to have them replace it with a new one. or if i buy one from their booth they will install it for free.

i also heard that people like Whitestone Dome Glass. this is a do it yourself screen protector which i suck at and was afraid i will mess it up. but from the youtube videos i have seen it looks pretty easy and fool proof.....but still i'm also lazy.....LOL

i bought a highly rated one on amazon and have to say im not that happy with it so far...the screen seems so unresponsive. all i had before was the preinstalled one that came with the phone. that was getting scratched up so decided to get a new one. on my keyboard, the "1" button is on the left edge, and it takes me like 5 times to get it to type.

ill try for a few more days, but will have to return this thing if it doesnt improve.

do you guys all love yours?
