Ok, after a days use, approx 4 hrs off and on. Battery charge appears to be living up to it's 8hr promise.

Takes a lot to impress me and I have to say, the Whitestone Dome screen protector does 110%. Everything went just as the video they show. Very very pleased! No loss of sensitivity navigating around the phone with apps although the finger print scanner seems to be affected a bit, could just be old ass dried out skin. Had to moisten my thumb just a tad to get it to register.

I'll never buy another brand that much is certain.

I've had no problems with the reader.

I registered my print with the stock screen protector, and DIDN'T need to re register once the Dome was installed.

Stock screen protector? You mean the screen itself right? Or are you referring to the peel off plastic sheet?

Ko, That's the first thing to hit the trash can on every phone I get. I'll turn them on and when the screen lights up, it comes off.

Maybe once the September update comes thru (still on August), it'll fix the lack luster finger print scanner. It didn't impress me when I 1st set it up as it seemed hesitant to flow smoothly thru the registration with a bare screen. The dome compounded it exponentially.

The facial recognition works awesome.

Ok after the September 1 2019 update this morning, the fingerprint scanner seems to be better. As an enhancement to functionality I scanned the same finger (thumb actually) using add a new print in different positions so no matter how I happen to grab the phone, the scan always pops the first time.

however, the one that i have now actually does work. the issue that i have is that the phonegets quite hot while charging and i get a popup message saying that the charging is paused because the phone is too hot. i have to scoot the phone a bit so that the charging plates are not in contact and let the phone cool down. this does not happen a lot, but enough to annoy me.

Just wanted to say I've completed a long weekend away, with a 2½ hour drive in each direction plus multiple drives in between - with the phone connected to my watch and using the buds so my wife wasn't annoyed by the satnav voice, it still gained battery charge through the tough Armor case.

Probably not as much as a layer model would though, not sure what the output is.
