Just over 2½ hours now...

I just gave myself a huge scare...

So I'm a bus driver. I pulled into depot at around 0720, and i won't be back there until after 1900...

The depot is 45 minutes outside the town centre, so not accessible on a break.

My home is the same distance.

I got out of my bus to go get a drink and couldn't find my wallet! I thought I'd left it in the car or at home!

This meant I'd either have to WAIT another day or attempt to sign up for credit.

Thankfully when I got back in the bus, I noticed my wallet had fallen behind the seat.

Phew!

So it's here, and I have my first "disappointment".

They ordered the wrong colour. I wanted the black, but I've got the glow.

Because it's the 512, they couldn't swap it as they don't have the stock.

I've taken it anyway. It's going on a case, so it's not really an issue. It's just the principle really.

They guy who took my pre order was rushing, andand my email address wrong too.

But at least i have it.

i just saw an email saying my order is ready for pickup........so i have to work today, but afterwards i should have my baby in my hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What should have been a short day turned out to be a very long day...... but I must say it's been a pretty good day despite it being long....I'm currently waiting my turn to get help at Best Buy. In a short bit I should have my shiney new phone in hand.

alright i'm home now and have been updating and playing around with the note 10+. i'm gonna take the phone out into the wild tomorrow and see how things are. i'm curious to see how verizon's coverage is everything everyone says it is.

initial thoughts:
screen is amazing. it is outright beautiful!!!!!!!! it has a real nice feel to the phone. it is not as big as oit looks or seems. one ui seems very fast and snappy. shortly i'm gonna change it to nova launcher.

right now i'm trying to pick out new homescreen and lockscreen wallpaper

ok its late and in my excitement to play with my new shiny phone, i forgot to celebrate here my new phone acquisition.

so I just so I just ordered the case I'm going to use and and planning to order my N10+ 5G sometime in the next 2 - 4 days. There's not much, at my age, that I still get as excited as a kid in a candy store about but that's how I am with new tech! I am itching to get that thing in my hands!!

Where I am the 5g doesn't exist on a network stable to handle it.Lucky you. To be honest I couldn't stomach more than 1100 for mine and wont.
happy and its perfectly human to be like a child before XMAS day to open presents. All of us are no matter how tough a persona.

i completely understand the excitement.....you will absolutely love this device. hands down best phone i have ever owned. i love it so much that i can totally see me keeping this phone for 2 years.....which i think would be a first. the note 8, i kept for 18 months.....so i came close.

but with tech advancing the way it is.....who knows what will be developed in two years.

Mind over money. If theres a need to exceed, take the leap. I do it even when I cant afford it.
I am on a leash, or lease.
I will never fully pay off any and not feel the full impact financially. Recent devices I bought as if my money rolled off like toilet paper.
Then I suddenly grew up when my CCs began a nuclear meltdown.

I skipped all the phones from the S7 to the Note 10+ lol and it's odd that other carriers have 5G after the logo lol my doesn't have that but it's 5G coming from Sprint

It's not so much a matter of money... though I'm not a rich man, it's more a matter of principal. I buy outright and have a perfectly functional phone. True enough I could sell it but I most often keep my recent discards with the thought of falling back on it if something happens to the current phone. The plan is sound in principal but more often than not it ends up gifted to my youngest child who is still in the struggling to get somewhere in life mode. She is not phone poor at this time so I have not great incentive beyond a huge desire.

Been enjoying the hell outta mine. Performance is above and beyond expectations. Changing screen res from the default FHD+ to WQHD+ made a world of difference. Also downloaded and changed the system font. It's a free d/l from samsung.

The built in video capture is a little disappointing. The resolution is not carried thru. On screen the details are fantastic, not so much in the capture.

Yup, have the settings on max as above. I'm thinking it might have something to do with the server I was on when recording. Was an online multiplayer game and depending where everyone is logging in the most from at the time is where it redirects, I think lol.

Max for the screen recorder is 1080p, The 10 is Full HD, the 10+ is Quad HD+

1920x1080 — FHD (Full HD) / 1080p.
2560x1440 — QHD/WQHD (Quad HD) / 1440p.
3840x2160 — UHD (Ultra HD) / 4K 2160p.

Ok I think it must be because of the amount of players in the game, the flight game has 8 people and they can be anywhere in the world, this one is 1 on 1 no telling where the opponent is from but much better resolution.
