Help The phone is protected by Knox Cloud Services

not sure what you are trying to do. just connect to wifi and you should be fine. by doing a factory reset, did it trip FRP? if so then you will need your friends info to unlock the phone. once unlocked then you can reset the device without tripping frp and then you can switch and use your own google acct info or create yiour own if you do not have one.

Same issue with my S8! I bought mine brand new from Verizon in 2018 and tried to factory reset after owning for 3 years. Same lock-out by Knox. I have communicated with Support from Knox, Verizon and Samsung, noone will accept responsibility. My Knox cloud service is enrolled by a company "SiteOne Landscape" and I even contacted them to see if this was a refurbished phone. They will not reply.
Extremely frustrating.

Does your Knox show that it will be managed by Siteone Landscape(see attachment)
