IMG_5352.JPG IMG_5353.JPG Hi All!
I installed Smart Maps Offline (By Map Apps). It has an icon on the screen that I can't figure out, despite much experimentation. (Photos are attached.) I messed around quite a while before giving up and doing an internet search for icon images. (Boy- There sure are a lot of them out there, but I didn't find this one!)

The one that looks like a ruler & a stick making an "X" is the default one. The one that looks like an iPod shows up when the screen is tapped.

I wrote to the developer a couple of times over the last 2 weeks, but received no reply, so that's out.

Do any of you know what this icon does?

Thanks For Helping!
Paul

I figured it out, so I'll post it here, in case someone in the future searches for this question:
It is a distance measuring function.

Tap the Ruler-And-Stick "X" looking icon and when it switches to the iPod icon (maybe it is supposed to be a phone icon)- tap the map somewhere. Then tap another spot and it will show the distance between them. (I guess the ruler part of the icon should have tipped me off...)

Pretty Spiffy!
