How can I get dark mode in chrome

I've upgraded from the Note 8 where I had dark mode in the chrome browser but can't seem to find where to activate it on my Note 10 plus.

Any help would be gratefully received

1. Dark mode is still an experimental feature in Chrome for Android, so bear in mind that some design elements might look a little strange. To activate it, enter chrome://flags in the browser's address bar.

2. Tap the 'Search flags' box and enter the work dark. You'll find two options here: 'Android web contents dark mode' and 'Android Chrome UI dark mode'. If you activate the first option, Chrome will detect if a site's developers have created a dark version and select it automatically. If there's no dark version available, the browser will invert the site's colors. Activating the second option means that the browser interface itself will turn dark.

3. Tap the drop-down menu under each of these options and change the setting to 'Activated', then restart Chrome.

4. Now open the settings menu, tap 'Themes' and select 'Dark'. If you can't see the Themes option, restart Chrome again and it should appear.

you may not need to do step 4.

IF YOU dont like it do same steps and reverse it

i use dark and no issues and flip the switch in seconds to go light.

I have given in and tried but although I typed chrome://flags into the bar I didn't get an option to search flags

revert it again. somehow something happened beyond the flag setting. Mine hasnt reverted for months.

I show it under settings>themes within the android chrome browser. Is it not there on your Note? I didn't have to change any flags or anything.

not on chrome on my pius. I used flags/ SNAPDRAGON device.

Sorry. That'll teach me to assume that everyone in the Note 10 forum is using a Note! I hope you solved it anyway. Dark theme is just so much easier on the eyes.

After I used flag command, NOW! option to show theme setting in 3 dot tap menu in chrome.

Thanks guys, it reverted back again lol. I must've had an update of some sort though as I now have the theme option that wasn't there a few weeks ago

Same issue here. I typed chrome://flags into the bar but I didn't get an option to search flags
