I'm furious with Verizon. I've been with them since 2004. Their customer service has seemed to decline. They currently are offering a 500 dollar trade in plus a 200 dollar gift card for new clients but are only offering current clients 200 toward a 2 year upgrade. I feel de-prioritized as a customer. It seems to me that you have to leave in order to get a better deal. I'm furious. I pay for extended warranty. The csr promised me that the iPhone they would send out to my wife would have a 100% battery capacity. The one they sent had only 80 something, which I know, is "passable"... all things taken together? I feel like that they couldn't care less about their customers.

My foot is out the door. Is tmo any good? Or are all crap? When I say furious? I am serious. i expect better care from my phone company. Not happening.

Well, as a long time Verizon customer I hear you loud and clear. Except, at least where I live, no one else has the coverage that can compete. I also have 9 lines on my older unlimited plan and can't find a cheaper alternative.

I have gotten to the point I buy all unlocked phones so I don't pay the payments or activation fees. Maybe someday there will be a better alternative to the evil empire...

I was with Verizon for a long time and got fed up with the way they started locking down their phones and high cost of monthly service. I stopped looking deals for new phones with contracts and started buying my phones directly from the manufacturer.
Switched to Straight Talk with a Verizon network Sim and getting the Ultimate Unlimited plan for $55 per month with my OnePlus 6T.
Can't beat Verizon coverage in my area or Straight Talk price for the amount of data I use.
For me, best of both worlds.
Usually get more selling my old phones on Swappa than most offer for trade in.

well i was one of those who got a great deal on my note 10+ for signing on to verizon. so far so good. no complaints on my end. i guess we shall see how it is when it is time to get an upgrade for me. if i'm not getting the same or similar deal then i would be pissed as well. maybe by then i can move to another network.

but that is at least another year.....maybe two.....LOL

It's faster here at my house than Verizon but at work and other places coverage is spotty. Good luck and keep us posted!

I will. I got the sim at the mall which is about 20 minutes from my house which is in the county. From the mall to work is great. The coverage map shows great coverage at home but we'll see. So far, from what I've seen I'm sold on Tmo, but I'm going to give it a couple of days. Also, I'm going to wait for Black Friday promos.

Interesting that about 3 or 4 years ago I put a Tmo sim in my Note 4 (i have a Note 8 now) to check out Tmo service. It was terrible. It isn't anymore! We'll see.

Steven, I have had no problem with T-Mo for the last few years. I went from Verizon to AT&T (terrible) to T-Mobile.

I use Mint Mobile MVNO and pay about $240 / year for 8BG high speed, unlimited 3g, unlimited voice, unlimited texts.

Steve, they where doing the same deal on their web and mobile, a few days ago, I just happen to scan inside the area, as I mentioned on here not a spell or two ago.

Still I am against buying anything from Verizon.
Just curious as to why? I just came from to Verizon cuz they had a pretty sick deal on my note 10+. They have been pretty good to me so far.

Oh because they gave me a wireless charger, without anything to go with or anything, not even a manual on matching up the magnetics and to where it should of lined up too. Just a boring white brick, it never worked on my cell at all. That is why.

that is odd!!!!!!!!

i signed up at Best Buy. they are pretty good at not doing that kind of stuff. they bent over backwards to help me get my deal with verizon. for some reason the credit i was owed from the deal never kicked in on verizons end, but the kids at Best Buy was able to push it thru for me. other than that verizon has been spot on as far as customer service goes.
