Where on the screen is it? Might it be part of something else, e.g. a new feature on a clock widget?

There is no official way of reverting an update in general.
I don't know whether it's possible to download official firmware for a Nokia and flash that using a computer (I do know that there's no ROM development for that device, which is a bad sign for unofficial solutions generally). You could look here and see whether there is anything useful, but I'm not hugely optimistic.
If you are having problems after a major update it may be worth backing up and trying a factory reset. It could be that something in your setup's data or settings is incompatible with the new OS, in which case a reset will fix it (ideally you'd always do this for major updates, but it's a pain so most people do not, and most get away with it). If there were a way of reverting an update you'd certainly have to reset as part of that.
