Custom Rom

Samsung tab4 rooting is not a problem
Problem is it’s slow as hell and all I need it for is to run 1 app (quadzilla) not all the other bs that’s preloaded

So those are stripped down versions?

I couldn't say without knowing more about your device. First thing to do is open the hidden setting called "developer Options" and enable usb debugging. To do this go to phone settings and "about device " or something similar to that and look for build number. Tape build number 5 to 7 times in rapid concession. Then back up and a new setting will appear in phone setting "developer Options".
With Samsung phones like my Note 4, I just can't download any old Note 4 rom. The n910p and the n910c are very different. My n910p is a snapdragon chipset and the n910c has an exynos chipset while the n910a has a locked bootloader that prevents flashing any custom roms.

I myself have a rooted n910p with a custom recovery (TWRP), custum rom and a custum kernel. Each one was developed specifically for my n910p.

Try looking for your model number in "about device".

If your currently on 4.4 kit kat stick to kit kat roms or use Odin to flash a lower official factory firmware. You'll access to a pc to install Odin software in order to flash the custom recover which is necessary in order to flash custom rom .zip. I would strongly advise not to immediately flash root or custom rom untill you first make a complete back up of all your participations. Save them to external sd and keep a copy saved elsewhere. I also advise waiting before flashing any modifications other than custom recovery. You'll get a much better reception if you wait until all your carrier data has been downloaded. Yes you'll get bloat but it will give your device much better network conectivity. As you don't want all the carrier bloatwear just pick a debloated custom rom.

I believe it is on 4.4 there is no carrier it’s a WiFi tablet I’m just looking to speed it up a bit because it tends to lag a bit at times
