Is there a good, thorough website that explains the ins and outs of smartwatches? If so, please share.
I am looking for a smartwatch that: allows me to store sensitive files on it, does the heart rate and sleep monitoring thing and will let me install keepass on it, a password vault...and cost less than $150. Any recommendations?

Thanks! Soo.....processing this...are there smart watches out there that will let me store the database file from Keepass on it and let me connect it to my computer? KP allows for remote placement of the database file. And also..would I be able to store the "on the go" version of firefox on it and run firefox on my desktop from the watch? The files on the watch are both plan B, backups...but it is a critical need app for me.

Typical smart watches run an OS which is optimized for use on the wrist. You can install apps if the developers of those apps have built them for smartwatches but I doubt that keepass is compatible. If you go for a watch running a full version of Android then you will probably be able to install whatever apps you want... But how well will keepass's interface adapt to a one inch screen? Is that really an experience you would enjoy?

Of all the different smart-watches that are available, quite frankly I've yet to find one I could use satisfactorily and be happy with.

Wear OS is heavily dependant on Google, which here in China is basically forget it a lot of the time. Except for Huawei Wear OS devices that use Baidu instead of Google, and I don't wish to go there for many reasons.

Samsung Tizen smart-watches depend on having a Samsung phone.

Apple Watch, I would never have an iOS device.

Various Chinese smart-watches running Android, from what I've seen most of them are basically crap, buggy, quality issues, and/or fugly, etc.
