My friend recently gave me his old Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x that he hasn't been using for a long time. He didn't remember the password so i wiped its data using the recovery mode. But now, when the phone opens it says that i should activate my phone using a mi account. My friend doesn't remember the password of his mi account. I managed to crack and now i can login without any problem. But when i connect the phone to the internet, i get locked agan. Is there any program i can use to block incoming connections from the xiaomi servers?

I managed to defeat it. But it works only offline. The safty system works by communicating with xiaomi's servers
Right--so you didn't really defeat it, assuming you want to do anything that involves an Internet connection. Like installing apps, doing banking, shopping, using e-mail...

Something to keep in mind is all non-root firewall apps cannot function like a full-featured, conventional firewall utility, they don't have the functionality to block incoming and outgoing signals on a system-level basis. They can only block apps and their related background services, with full control over user-level processes but very limited control over system-level processes.
