why did you decide to upgrade?

Great question @blackcar. I haven't had a true flagship phone since the OG Droid a looooong time ago. I started reading about this class of Samsung phones, and was really intrigued and decided it was again time for a flagship. I was originally going to go with the Z-Fold, but was foiled by the AT&T exclusive, so the next step was the S20.

When's the last time you've heard someone complain about choppy conversations?
Me, most times when I speak to my daughter ;).

Not sure whether it's that her phone is getting old and battered or the coverage is crap where she is now, but it's most conversations we have.

To keep it on-topic, that would be a good reason for her to upgrade :). However I can't see her paying early adopter prices for the S20, so suspect she'll hang on another few months.

I only deal with one country @Hadron Probably crap coverage though. The US is close to full coverage on one network or another. I wish they'd think about buying out a Satellite network though. Then the forests, deserts and mountains would work too.

BOT: I'll upgrade when there are really new features.
My Note 3 only works with the power cable plugged in.

The 120 is a BIG factor for me. The Pixel 4 has 90, but barely qualifies due to software restrictions. Plus no fingerprint scanner? They went from old way (on back) and jumped right to 'leave it off'.

I love the idea of in screen fingerprint scanner. Give me cool tech. I have a Pixel 3 and apart from minor software annoyances, it is fine... Just fine. No phone can touch Samsung specs IMO... OnePlus is the closest, Pixel doesn't even compete, spec wise.

Curious to see what is like going from Pixel to S20 (plus)
