S10 SD Card & Music Playlists

I have just purchased a replacement phone. (S10)

I inserted SD card from previous phone S7 That had all of my music and playlists, but kept getting SD card needs formatting message. So i formatted the SD cards and now i am experiencing issues as described below.

My previous Phone Samsung (S7) allowed me to transfer music from an old PC (where I Store all my digital music at home) and whilst the phone was still connected via cable, create playlists on to my phone from the PC itself.

My playlist was approx 1,500 songs. Creating this on PC to phone on S7 was no problem once I connected S7 and clicked allow prompt to connect to PC.

Now on new phone S10. I am able to transfer the music to SD card but am unable to create playlist whilst on my PC as before. The PC starts to create the 5 seconds into creation I receive error message "phone is no longer connected".

I have had to create playlist on the S10 itself but max Number of tracks per playlist is 1,000 tracks so i have had to create 2 playlists (grrrrr) any thoughts on how to work around this.

I have re-started both PC & S10 phone but this has not helped.

Thanks Marc
