Can't send or receive non-.com links between devices

Hey there - I'm an android user (galaxy s9) whereas the rest of the household members use iCrap. An issue I'm experiencing is this:
When we share hyperlinks that end in anything but .com, my android and the iCrap devices don't receive the links yet no problem with links ending in .com. I've scoured through the security settings and nothing jumped out at me. Has anyone experienced this issue? Any helpful suggestions?

how are you sharring the links? text? email? how do they appear when shared? just missing? greyed out? nothing?

It would help if you posted one or more of those hyperlinks that aren't working out.

Thank you @ocnbrz and @svim for your replies.
The mechanism is text. Signal and Messages on Galaxy device and iMessge on iOS.
After further testing it turns out the problem I'm experiencing is with https://wid.world address, which contains data about inequality.
Text messages with this particular address don't transmit the address. I tested the transmission with whatsapp and it worked fine.

Considering this additional testing, I'd say don't spend much time investigating the issue unless you already know the answer.

Just did a couple of tests using that https://wid.world address and had no problem with it.
Sent a text message to myself, viewed it using the Signal app and a) tapping on the link automatically opened it in my browser app, and b) long-pressing to copy-and-paste the link also worked when pasting the link into my browser app.
You provided a web site address but not if that's not actually one of the actual links in question, it's still a mystery as to what the problem might be.

That is the actual site where this all started. In fact, I tested with another iOS user friend of mine who didn't received the message at all but when he sent it via Whatsapp it came through. It's very intriguing that you're able to send and receive the site address. Did you do it between iOs and Android? I haven't tested it with another Android user yet.

Web site URLs are universal and they're not platform specific, one of the few things corporate oversight hasn't been able to mess with. Web site content can be problematic however but that's not a prevalent issue, and not relevant to your problem.
Which browser app do you use?
Are you able to open that site if you type it into your web browser app? If that works out OK (it should), then the problem is could be due to the open by default option in your browser app settings. Something isn't triggering your browser to open links you tap on in your text messaging app.
