Can't Figure Out How To Have Alarm Sound With Phone On Vibrate

I've owned several Samsung Galaxy/Note phones and I just picked up an S20 Ultra 5G. I sleep at odd times and I like to have notifications turned off and phone set to vibrate for incoming calls. Of course, I want the alarm to be loud and wake me up. I've been able to do it on every other android phone, so I'm guessing there's a way on the S20.

First off, I have the alarm volume on and turned up.

Here's what's kind of odd. When my ringtone is a little bit up, the system volume is normal and the system sound is up where I can set it and I have alarm volume.

As soon as I turn my ringtone all the way down, I can not control the notifications and system volume (the buttons are grayed out) and the alarm will not ring.

Any ideas are appriciated.

Well, I installed it and tried it with no luck. The only thing that will let the alarm volume ring is to have the ring volume turned up.

The odd thing is, once the ring volume is out of the off position, the alarm volume is whatever is selected. If the ring volume is all the way up and the alarm volume is on one, the alarm will be quiet. If the ring volume is on one and the alarm volume is all the way up, the alarm will blast loud. But, if the ring volume is off, the alarm won't sound.

I've also played around with do not disturb settings with no luck. This is the damnedest thing.

Some devices link the ring volume to the notification and/or the system volume.

I have never seen them linked to the alarm before.

Did you attempt leaving the system volume up, and then adjusting the ringer to off and the alarm up?

As soon as I turn the ringer volume off, the system volume goes grey and the slider turns off and the alarm is also off, no matter where the alarm volume slider is. It's like the ringer volume is the "master volume".
