Z982 Stuck In Bootloop

How did you root it?

It' might be stuck in engineering mode

This might be late but you need to go to edl and reflash the boot image then factory reset the phone

It's happened to me too

It's sound like it soft bricked

Wait I will supply you the tool to put by the way it's dfu mode which stands for Device firmware upgrade to edl

You will need a simple process but it might sound alot but believe me it's not

I feel like you want root so here a patch boot with magisk : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1sB0eK0euV8PW6RIrfvdsdVkiU5ohxd-8 if not just reply and I will send you the link to the B20 firmware you can update it later to B25 via sdcard.

For TWRP recovery download this file : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IzQwIKb807UrrFc6f7zny3qX2_qSTweL like I said if you want normal recovery you will find it in the firmware

Third place the patch boot/normal boot in for me is C:\Zte_blade_z_max_edl\flash\boot for boot and \flash\recovery for recovery then go back to C:\Zte_blade_z_max_edl and run the bat tool as administrator it important to run as administrator.

Then, the tool should detect the phone in edl mode a give you the options to flash, click the number beside flash to enter flash menu and the number beside boot to flash boot and the number beside recovery to flash recovery (do it separately, wait for boot to flash and recovery to flash and it should give you a big success text DONT WORRY ABOUT 'THE SYTAX IN THE COMMAND IS INCORRECT' ERROR as long is it gives you the big success you good to go) then try to boot to recovery if you succeed wipe the data DONT PERFORM THE FACTORY RESET I THINK IT WONT WORK AND WILL GIVE YOU A FAILED TEXT you have to text 'yes' in order to format data then reboot the system and you should be in the wizard setup and if you want to update magisk after setup don't direct install it will bootloop your device. To update magisk you will need to download Flashify and this boot image with the latest magisk which I will be uploading after I download the firmware. Then you will need to go to Flashify and allow root permission and flash boot image and click yup after browsing to the patch boot image by me. For some reason sometimes the boot.img doesn't show in the download from Flashify in that case click the three dots and click show internal storage and swipe right and click the Z982 tab and browse to where you download it. After you flash it, its important to reboot your device and after that go to magisk manager and check if the latest magisk is installed and you should be good.

I'm having the same issue. I downloaded all the stuff but don't know how to use the ZTE Terminal Software Update Framework. Can you provide directions to that? Or is there another way to get my phone out of bootloop?

Do you have the original rom for this phone? So I can try to flash back.

So, how did you get lineage working on that device?
