Accessories Screen Protectors - do you plan to get/use one?

i bought a highly rated one on amazon and have to say im not that happy with it so far...the screen seems so unresponsive. all i had before was the preinstalled one that came with the phone. that was getting scratched up so decided to get a new one. on my keyboard, the "1" button is on the left edge, and it takes me like 5 times to get it to type.

ill try for a few more days, but will have to return this thing if it doesnt improve.

do you guys all love yours?
If you really want to do this right, there's only one real solution....Whitestone Dome Glass. It's not cheap ($39.99) and it's an intense installation process including UV curing with a lamp they provide with the product.

Follow the instructions carefully and make sure when you tape the sides, that you don't cover the area where the glass goes...which is what I did and I didn't get a full tight seal. Luckily, for the cost of the shipping, they are sending me a new one. This is THE solution. Sensitivity is great and no bubbles. Great product but it is expensive. I thought given the investment I made in the phone, this was worth it and I highly recommend this product.

I never had any luck with the curved glass protectors. Worse: one cracked and I had to remove it in pieces. NO FUN!

I use the ArmorSuit Military Shield screen protectors on all our devices. It's a self-healing polymer, you only get one in the pack and it's all you will need. If it ever gets damaged, ArmorSuit offers a free replacement for the life of the device.

I'm planning on getting the Whitestone Dome, but wondered what your thoughts were on the matter.

I'm not a fan of plastic screen protectors, and as soon as the WSD turns up I'll be replacing the factory installed protector.

So what's your choice?

  1. None?
  2. Plastic?
  3. Glass?
  4. Folio/Flip case?
  5. Holster/Pouch?
  6. Other?
Glass-Whitestone. Pitaka case-very minimalistic and nice functionality i.e. metal plate built in, etc.

I tried using a tempered glass screen protector, but it didn't work very well. I had issues with the screen fingerprint recognition. So I ordered another more expensive one thinking it was due to that particular glass, but it too didn't work very well so I'm giving up and just going without any.
It's possibly worth a reminder at this point that the Note 10 ships with a pre-installed screen protector which would need to be removed before any others are installed.

I have a coulple of tiny glitches on mine at the bottom from swiping up after having it since May but barely noticable and may be from me nail pulling to check there was one. When this ths, ot a previous, thread was first started.

I think the best bet is to stick with the protector that comes with it and then decide on a soft or hard protector when it is not doing it's job anymore.

Yes but the oem one only lasted 7 months with me. I've opted for the LK film ones from amazon. They are very close to the pre installed feel.
