QUESTIONS ABOUT WHATSAPP

Hi all ! I have 2 doubts about Whatsapp
1)In a whatsapp group for now I can only see through the info all the users who have viewed my message. But can I see every time a certain user has visited a group (ex: Andrea entered Wednesday at 15:30 or I can only see when he displays the message and that's it ?
I hope I have been clear.
2))On Whatsapp you can see the status of your contacts. But the Whatsapp status is confirmed as displayed when you click on it or when you simply switch to the screen with all the statuses of your contacts ?

1) No, being in a group does not allow you to see when each member of the group had the WhatsApp app open and when they left (which is I think what you are asking). It's just like sending a message to an individual, you can see when they received it and when they read it (assuming they didn't just read the notification then swipe it away, which I suspect might not show up as read). Being in a group does not give you extra snooping abilities that having an individual conversation doesn't.

2) If you mean the status tab, I've never used it and don't especially see the point. But as it's you that posts it, and it disappears some time after you post it, I don't think the question you are asking really applies.
If you mean stuff like the "last seen" statement when you click on the chat, well you only see it when you click on that chat so again I don't think the question applies.

Regarding Whatsapp status I mean the photos/videos that can be uploaded and disappear after 24 hours. Since when I enter Whatsapp I am warned by a dot next to "Status" that a new status has been published, I wanted to understand if the status of a contact is shown as displayed if: 1)you simply switch to the Status screen (i.e. the screen that shows you all the statuses of the contacts); or 2)if you click on one of them

It shows when you click on it (though if you have friends who actually use this feature surely you can just see how it works?). But I only know this because I realised that the lonely WhatsApp icon on my Status page was actually one of these things from WhatsApp themselves, and it's just sitting there unplayed, and hence must only play when clicked on. I assume it would tell me why this was an exciting feature if I clicked it, but I'm not going to find out because I don't care.

Personally I don't see how it's relevant: it's just a lazy copy of the "stories" from Facebook, without any thought as to whether it makes sense for a message app. And I'm clearly not alone, because nobody I know uses that feature.

The only way you can tell when a member opens the group chat is if you had sent a message to the chat which they'd not read yet. If that is the case then it will flag the message as read by them at the time they opened the chat. But if they've already read the last message you sent you cannot tell whether they have returned to the thread since.

As I've said already, no, you cannot do that.
I sent an email to Whatsapp support to confirm, and it was confirmed that the feature isn't supported
I attach the text of my email

Good morning,
Is it possible to know when a member of a group enters within a group (or,in other words, every time a member opens the chat of the group ?)to know, for example, hour or day of the visit ?
