My fault, I've been extremely busy, with my business ventures. Let's back track. What were you doing prior to the device becoming inoperable? Are you sure the files aren't corrupt? I usually just match the downloaded file size, to the size of the original file.
I will check back in as time allows.

sorry, i been a little busy myself also lately. all i was doing was playing a game of spades and it just restarted and kept restarting. ive tried factory reset and nothing is working/ i just want to get it working again. i dont know if i can flash a custom rom on it to fix it or what?? ive tried checking the files and re downloading them in case they were bad.

When I select the link for the firmware, I get "403 Forbidden".
I thought maybe it was my VPN or a browser setting but I disabled the VPN and also tried another browser. Same result.
The only other site I found with a link to the cab file doesn't work either.
When I click on the link there it just opens a blank tab.
Anyone have a known working link for the LG870 firmware?

No problem. I believe those links are now dead. Unfortunately, I no longer have these files. Sorry friends.
