Google play, the Apple store and other's Banned the Parler app, Amazon kicked Parler from it's platform because Qanon organized on Parler.
I'm calling on all of you to take down twitter and facebook as these platforms were used by Antifa and BLM to stage attacks on cities all over the country that left many Police Officer's and Civilians Dead or wounded.
They also burned and looted many cities.
They also organized to destroy many statue's around the USA.
we're sick and tired of the two tier justice system that allows DemocRATs to get away with just about everything while going after Conservatives relentlessly.

@PitCarver: What has this puerile post got to do with the Android operating system?
This is an Android forum.
we have a politics and current affairs forum, otherwise known as the PCA forum, which is where the thread is in.....so this is the right spot. we have forums that are dedicated to others aspects of life.

here is the forum link:
https://androidforums.com/forums/politics-and-current-affairs.170/

and here are some rules (which i think some should read before they post here;))

so the truth is that parlor where Q-anon conspiracies abound is where the truth is? so it is ok to say that Democrats are devil worshippers who eat babies and that trump is going to eradicate them.....that is the truth?

its ok for parlor to let white supremacy run amuck without any consequences?

My apologies.
I stand corrected!

It's naive to think that the Parler shutdown is anything to do with liberal or conservative politics, or even the absurd QAnon conspiracy. When you are looking at the actions of corporations, it always comes down to money.

Now there are a lot of reasons why these corporations are perfectly happy with angry online mobs in their thought bubbles (curated by social media companies' algorithms), whoever they are and whatever they are angry about. "Engagement" is money as far as they are concerned. And of course Amazon had the old-fashioned motivation that Parler were paying for hosting. But the big worry for "tech" companies is that the gravy train they've enjoyed for years through their activities being essentially unregulated may come to an end (the signs are growing), and after last week not acting would bring that threat closer. And frankly I don't think you need to look any further than that: the money they were making, whether from Trump followers or QAnon supporters on social media or the fees Amazon were collecting from Parler, was no longer worth the risk.

It's not politics, just profit.

Parler sucks, im(notso)ho.

The same thing happend to GAB years ago, and now they are better than ever.

Telegram never had the problem, as they have always been indepenant of other companies.

It is a travesty when the dumpsofrats can burn Washington DC in June and the MSM calls it a protest-
but when conservatives go to the capital enmass and don't Burn, Loot, Murder it is called an insurrection.

Everyone just remember that Rome was a republic as well, and ours is soon to collapse into a mess just as theirs did.

Perhaps, when a video surfaces, we'll be able to see exactly who did it. Already known that antifa/blm had infiltrated the protest.
ok here we go with the conspiracy theory. anything violent that radical right likes to blame antifa. there is no evidence of such. its a conspiracy theory and nothing more.

Technically Rome was actually a kingdom.:p because it was ruled by an emperor for life.

https://www.britannica.com/place/Roman-Republic

Monarchy
(rule by one)
One person makes all the laws and rules the nation alone.
Technically does not exist, as a single ruler must delegate authority to others, as there is too much for one person to do.

Oligarchy
(rule by few)
A few elites have all the power and make rules that they can be exempt from. Default position for Monarchies.

Democracy
(mob rule)
Rule by the people. Sounds good, until you realize that the opinions with the most supporters become law. This is horrible for the minorities. This is how slavery could exist in the early years of the USA.

Republic
(rule by law)
The same laws apply to everyone equally. The people that make the laws are chosen by the people. This is exactly why the USA uses an electoral college instead of a popular vote. This prevents the nation from becoming a total democracy, where the majority rules over the minority.

Anarchy
(no law)
Only the strong shall survive.
Civilization cannot exist in such a state. This is why laws were made in the first place.

Yeah, there you go with the default 'consiracy theory' response again.

If a leftist doesn't agree, it's a conspiracy.

And the world is flat, our phones don't track our every movement...
its not disagreeing. i see antifa as a conspiracy theory. show me proof of antifa and i will listen.....until then its a conspiracy theory

How can you possibly consider one of the militant wings of the party you support to be a 'conspiracy theory'?

A worldwide organization of destruction and chaos, yet you refuse to admit that it exists.

That would be the same as a democrat calling the KKK a conspiracy theory.

that's still opinion piece....it is the authors right to state their beliefs....like i said i want concrete evidence....there was none stated in that article.....nice try though;)

How is it opinion, when she shows how a single source over and over reports about Antifa, yet after Trump is in office all of a sudden this same publication states that they may not even exist?

Yet more hypocrasy and flip-floppping from the left.

look i have no doubt anitifa exists. but to prove they are responsible for the violence of any sort is more difficult. the right , with no evidence will always shout anitifa when they have no proof of it. i'm sure there was anitifa during the summer riots,. but the riots were mostly peaceful. antifa is the rights scape goat for anything they think is not right.....this is the conspiracy i am talking about.

i see no point in the article you posted.

i mean there were idiots outside of the Capitol that said it was anitfa that actually stormed the building.

I had a thought about this today, I see many howling about "free speech" and those precious so-called "1st Amendment Rights". But ultimately what you can say and do on the interwebs is dictated by Terms of Service agreements, that you agree to when you sign up to whatever service, or provider you're using.

Parler signed a ToS agreement with Amazon for their hosting, and Amazon didn't agree with what they're doing, bye bye.

"free speech" probably only applies if you're stood on a street corner shouting through a megaphone.
