Hi too all.
I am using Jetaudio Plus for some time now, and 'was' working like a charm, but then came Android 11 installed on my Galaxy S10 Plus. App works, but all files are gone, that is, they are all in the 'Music' folder, but only the 'folders' are seen, not the files (mp3, flac and so on). I have tried alot, but nothing seems to work on showing the files.
Tryed rebuilding library, opened 'Go to music Folder', but again, only all the folders are there, no content al all.

Has anyone encoutered this issue.? Only happend after android 11 update.

So the songs are still seen and playable in other music apps and/or file browsers? Could be a compatibility issue that the JetAudio developers need to fix, possibly with an update?

Thanks for the reply, most appreciated.
Yes, I also use Black Player, and here I see all content in folders. I have tryed several players, some have the sam problem.
This only happend after the Android 11 update, before always woking fine.

I have used Black Player myself, and quite liked it. But I usually use Foobar2000. As for the problem, no ideas, as I don't have an Android 11 device to try. I did look at JetAudio, but the random full-screen ads made it unusable for me.

I just installed it on my Pixel 2 (Android 11), and it had no problem finding or playing songs. I specifically followed the "folders" navigation as well, just to be sure.

So it's not that it's simply incompatible with Android 11. Whether it's a problem with Samsung's implementation or something odd about your setup I don't know. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

Yes.

Try this, and if that does not help, then try restarting the device.

Yes, tryed un, the installing app, also tryed new and old version, both have same issue...
The music folder is not even on a sd card. My Galaxy S10 + has 512 gb storage, so app schould not have issue's finding the folders with files, in the standard MUSIC folder.
But lets just say it's Android 11 causing the problems. Could have someting to do with rights or so..
Well, gues it's bye bye to Jetaudio, mij favorite music app...

Thank you all for replying..

So this happened after an update, and allof your music was on the device itself, and not on an SD card?

I cannot say for sure, but maybe someo e here can correct me when I say that I am pretty sure that it is recommended to backup everything on the device before doing an update.

Also, it is my opinion that all music, videos, and pictures should be on an SD card, and not on the device itself- no matter how much memory the device has.

Mostly because it makes it very simple to remove and replace this info into multiple devices should the need arise, but also to help protect against things like this.

All it could take is you being caught in a rainstorm or dropping the device into a puddle, or any number of catostrophic thing to the device and all your data could be gone- whereas if it was on a card then that card could simply be put into a different device.

Hopefully you have your music files backed up somewhere?
