What's the weather like where you are?

It's cold! At least it warmed up ta balmy 17° and the winds have died down. I was seeing wind chills in the minus column this morning. It's supposed to get worse with the high temps for the Monday and Tuesday being below zero... I hope there isn't any wind. -12° early Tuesday that's predicted I hope is the lowest temperature we see. I be in the deep freeze. :)

We missed the freezing rain yesterday -- just a little too far north. But, not to worry, we've got precipitation in the forecast for Monday/Tuesday, Thursday, and just to mix it up a little, Friday, too. o_O
Ugh, 1/4-1/2" of freezing rain forecast for Monday night into Tuesday. I guess it's time for a little preventive maintenance on the generator.

Not that much for us all at one time, thankfully. Some of it might actually be snow, too even though we still have about a foot on the ground.

Sounds like my forecase. Sun on Wednesday, some type of crap the rest of the week.

It's hovering right around the freezing mark here. One or two degrees in either direction would change the ice to either rain or snow, but they've issued an ice storm warning so I think the weather people are pretty confident.

I'd take your sub-zero temps and snow any day of the week, and twice on Monday (Why waste a perfectly good Sunday with doubling down? ;) )

I wouldn't wish freezing rain off on an enemy. We get freezing rain here more often then snow.
It's quite rare to see a devastating amount thankfully. Just a trace makes travel incredibly treacherous. Stay safe and good luck.

It's snowing here right now with a -6.5° temp. It was -7.2° when I went to bed last night so it's warming up nicely.

Thankfully my forecast has been adjusted so I'm no longer in the .33" - .5" range. I'm merely in the .1"-.25" range. Like you said, a trace amount makes driving treacherous, once you start getting towards .25" then you introduce tree and powerline damage. I will pretreat my driveway tonight with salt but beyond that I'm at mother nature's mercy.

Winter Storm warning for today. Probably looking at another 8" on top of the foot or so still on the ground. At least it's not ice.
Yep, starting around noon today and snowing for the next 36 hours. At that pace I'll use my leaf blower to keep the yard clean.
