Sounds like my forecase. Sun on Wednesday, some type of crap the rest of the week.We missed the freezing rain yesterday -- just a little too far north. But, not to worry, we've got precipitation in the forecast for Monday/Tuesday, Thursday, and just to mix it up a little, Friday, too.
Not that much for us all at one time, thankfully. Some of it might actually be snow, too even though we still have about a foot on the ground.

Thankfully my forecast has been adjusted so I'm no longer in the .33" - .5" range. I'm merely in the .1"-.25" range. Like you said, a trace amount makes driving treacherous, once you start getting towards .25" then you introduce tree and powerline damage. I will pretreat my driveway tonight with salt but beyond that I'm at mother nature's mercy.
Yep, starting around noon today and snowing for the next 36 hours. At that pace I'll use my leaf blower to keep the yard clean.Winter Storm warning for today. Probably looking at another 8" on top of the foot or so still on the ground. At least it's not ice.
