why do you think you have to pay for them? especially a google search? especially in google maps?
you can search all you want for free....especially in google maps. not sure where you got the idea that you had to pay for that privilege?

I think the OP may be thinking about integrating it into an app of their own. Though I'd agree that it's likely to be free: Google want you to integrate their stuff because it lets them gather more data on people who use it.

sorry, maybe I did not express myself well, what I meant, is that when I implement the api place of google maps on my app on android studio (java), at the time of compilation, it gives me error, telling me that I have to activate billing on the my account to use the service.

Here's the pricing for the Google Maps Platform:

It looks like auto complete using the Maps API costs $2.83 per 1000 requests. You get $200 of free usage each month, so you could run something like 70,000 requests for free, assuming I did my math correctly.

You'll have to activate billing to use any GCP resources. It doesn't necessarily mean that you will be billed, but that has to be in place in case you do go over the free usage.
