Hello. I'm new so I hope I'm posting correctly. my S/O of almost 3 years and I have been talking about getting a place together and we've been talking marriage. Well he sent me a screenshot of something and I noticed this weird little notification icon it looks like two people with the heart in it and I know it's a dating app because I seen another one of that was a squarish heart and that's a dating app called u dates.. well I went through that one and can't find him on there so I'm trying to find out the dating app that uses this particular icon. I want to confront him but I have to have solid proof before I do so. Any help to what dating app uses this icon? It will be so helpful so I don't make the worst decision on my life TIA

We get this inquiry several times a week, and it is near impossible to identify an app by its notification icon except for the most widely known apps. Especially for apps with a heart notification, as these may be fitness apps, love apps, hook up apps, or for all we know, how to woo your woman apps.
That said, if you are contemplating cohabitation, or marriage, and you cannot trust him to ask what the app is, then you may have other things to reconsider. You have a question far more serious than what app he's using if you are looking to "confront him" based on an icon. Why not just ask wghat the app is? You have the evidence he's using the app, so if it is something nefarious, then you know.

there are so many apps that uses a heart in its icon. you have things like iheart radio to fitness apps, so assuming that is a dating app icon is wrong on your part. there are millions upon millions of apps each with their own notification icon.....so i would not necessarily assume anything unless you have actual proof.
and because there are so many, you will most likely only get guesses from us. these kind of questions usually go unanswered.
just ask him....it can't hurt especially if you are going to marry the guy.
