I know there is a way to stop that from happening, but yet even then after I had turned that off, I will see it on again with my Moto G6. Anyone else had that issue?

Wifi turns on automatically

just an fyi there is nothing wrong with leaving wifi on. the only time it will drain the battery if the wifi signal is weak. i always leave mine off.
and just curious how long does the wifi go back on? immediately? or over time?

Well we don't have the best signal in the country and I am on a limited internet. Not so worried about battery drain as to using up my internet time. I may turn the phone on and notice that the wifi is on all the sudden. I feel like something i do must activate it at times.

try putting it in safe mode. if it stops doing this, than an app is turning wifi on. safe mode prevents 3rd party apps from running. if it contiues, then either a setting within the phone is doing this or there is something wrong with your os and you might have to do a factory reset.
