Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 announcement

Okay boys and girls. No doubt this is an expensive but way exciting flagship for Samsung. Who is getting on board? I wish I was able to join the crew but I'll have to let you guys sail without me. That doesn't mean I'm not interested and somewhat jealous. I know the unveiling is behind us now. I missed it so I'm counting on you guys to tease me up. What features are luring you into a purchase. What is the one new feature that forced you into your pocket book? How long is the wait before you have this beast in your hands?

I'm way looking forward to your reviews...

yeah!!!!!! we get a new forum. FINALLY!!!!!

heading in to verizon later today to pre-order it.

for me from all i heard the fold 2 was a great phone. the fold 3 is an even better phone with s-pen support. this is what sold me and the fact that it is now water resistant.

The fold 2 piqued my interest. I can see why the 3 is in your sights. Especially with the S pen support. Is the pen going to be limited like with the S21 series or will it be full featured like the Note series?

there are two s-pens that will be available for the fold 3. the s-pen made specifically for the fold 3. and then there is the s-pen pro which can be used on other s-pen supported devices including the fold 3. the pro pen will have a switch to turn on when using the fold 3. the pro will also have bluetooth connectivity while the other will not.

got the fold 2 last year at launch and getting the fold 3 and flip3. traded in my fold 2 and note 20 ultra. next year if they come out with the note 30 or whatever its called, ill get on it. the spen really brought a LOT of note users over. i also picked up the spen for the fold with the cover as wekll as the pen pro to use with my other devices.

I would like to know how you like the spen pro. If it's worth the extra price. For me the size is what kills it for me. It's big and so far there is no way to attach it to the phone. It has its own carrying case and I know for sure I will loose it.

I like the functionality, the design seems to be getting better with each generation, and I like that they've not interrupted the main display with a camera cut-out. But it doesn't bring enough advantages to me to justify the price, and I'm not yet sure about its longevity (as I prefer use my devices for longer than average).

I actually pre-ordered the Fold 3 with the S Pen Pro... when I saw how HUGE the S Pen Pro really is, I cancelled that pre-order and re-pre-ordered (is that a word? It is now) the phone with the S Pen Fold flip case. I can't see that many situations wherein I would use the Pro's bells & whistles... but I want the S Pen with the phone at all times because I use it constantly.

i picked up the spen case, but i dont use my fold 2 in a case and wont use the fold 3 in one. i use a pouch and will keep both spens in the pouch. there is plenty of room for it.
