Copying Apps AND Data AND Settings to New Phone

Smart Switch doesn't transfer login credentials, because usually you need to register and login a change of device anyway, like with bank and financial apps, which is for security.

I used Smart Switch when I went from a Huawei Mate10 to a Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and that certainly transferred all my WhatsApp data. However it still did all the security stuff with using a new device, same for my WeChat, AliPay, TaoBao, Trip, apps, etc.

I agree about the passwords and I really don't care about them. There are a lot of setting for each every app that customized and it is really a lot of work to go through and remember my settings and remember what needs to be changed. There must be an easy way because there are many people who critique phones and I can't imagine that they go through all the settings each time they change phones.

But SmartSwitch did not transfer all of your custom settings for each app.

How do people who change Android phones all the time (reviewers, etc.) copy the old phone apps and settings to the new phones

I suspect professional reviewers will also have their own personal devices they keep for a long time. And are not doing private things like banking or messaging on a device that isn't theirs and may only be looking at and evaluating for a few hours or days.
