Thanks in xda they dont accept noobs like me. Not using for games just reading but was hoping to make more responsive.

accept? anybody can go there and try what the devs post there. my link just shows that there are no custom roms. there is a thread for rooting the device as well as a thread for twrp which is a custom recovery.....but that is about it.

if you want to speed things up, maybe try a factory reset.
