Is Knox responsible for encrypting files after doing a factory reset, or is it related to the issue? I had samsung galaxy m30s phone android 9 , that does not have knox, I am wondering if my data after factory reset is encrypted or not ?

Your data is encrypted by default in Android 9, it has nothing to do with Knox. What happens is when you first use your phone it generates an encryption key which it stores safely and uses that to encrypt.decrypt your data, This key is used until you do a Factory reset. Following that, a new encryption key is generated. this means that any files encrypted by the old key are now unreadable. Before doing a Factory reset, you must back up all data that you want to keep, either to a removable SD card or a cloud service e.g. Google Drive/ Photos etc.

So I understood from your answers that the people who say we have retrieved our deleted files by mistake in Android 9 and 10 after doing a factory reset are lying and we should not believe them no matter what they say that we have rooted the phone or use paid programs on the computer....

There might be some legit programs out there, but most from what I see here are just scams...... so be careful.

what is Professional Data Recovery, do you mean Professional Data Recovery Services companies or professional apps and softwares ?

Yeh, there's very much a difference. Professional data recovery companies, would be something like Drive Savers. https://drivesaversdatarecovery.com/
Where they actually take the devices apart, remove chips from the boards to read them directly. They would also recover data from crashed hard-drives. This can be extremely expensive, and is what the feds might use to try to recover evidence data from suspects' devices.

This is something that just can't be done by some whatever "professional" app and softwares.
