I am 95 years old hearing impaird from India. hearing aids were not successful. I use phone only for talking or texting with people in whatsapp or mobile and for no other purpose. Is there app or headphone or headset (obviously with mic) or speakers or any other attachment which will help me to talk to people talk clearly and in sufficient volume. I tried some bluetooth headphone and the sound in these are miserable. Only wired headphones to some extent help but not on whatsap. how are the phones with LIVE CAPTION? will they be of help to me?

Phonax is an excellent quality, I wrote everything out in a fourm about the pros and cons of it, but they do have it mostly connected and synch, it wraps around your ear, but you kind of have to reset them, otherwise your ears will get extremly warm over time, but that you will kind of have to get used to. And yeah you can use your phone's app to change the frequency in each ear, connects via blu tooth with your device and the battery will last pretty much until you feel like taking them off, and it is a rechargable battery as well.
