I am having an urgent issue with a Facebook account, and desperately need to speak to their support for help, but cannot get in touch with them. Please, does anyone have ANY suggestions?? Thank you.

they do not have a call center so you can't call them. they do have other ways to contact them, but it might not be immediate.

Good luck with Facebook.
I had a similar problem with them a few years ago which got nowhere.
Nonetheless I had to create a new account since they did nothing to help me.

Sit down with a good book or watch some kind of worthless show on Netflix. You really, really need to decompress and do something or anything to intentionally take your mind off of Facebook. Relax and tell yourself that you'll look into the problem tomorrow or Tuesday. It's a holiday weekend so Facebook staff will be minimal anyway. it's not like you'll be able to deal with someone directly to begin with.

May not be "with" Facebook (other than the difficulty of getting through to them): I've known a fair few people have their accounts hijacked, and most people would want urgent action when that happens.

Why am i upset with Facebook? Because my personal information and business have been violated, and getting a hold of them is absolutely impossible. They will not help me, and there's nothing I can do about it...that's why.

Don't expect to get compensated in any way from Facebook, using and exploiting is part of its business model. Yes that's not fair nor ethical but that's just an aspect to the society we've created for ourselves. The bottom line is Facebook has more power and clout, and accumulated wealth, than a lot of countries across the globe.

For your own mental health, don't let Facebook's antics get to you. Make a serious and a conscious effort to just accept it's an immoral corporation that has no problem chewing people up and spitting out the remains while pretending to be some kind of beneficial social media service. Facebook may try to take away your dignity but that's who you are, even the opportunistic Zuckerberg can't do that.

If the OP's data and identification have been compromised (even if fixable) , their business or personal reputation, their safety, their legal and work status and history, plus all the other possibilities... with respect I don't think reading a really good book is going to solve that and make it go away.

If you have a real solution that the OP can do to actually 'solve and make this go away', then you really should post it.

Facebook can and does manipulate governments to serve its own purposes, one upset person making complaints is just falling on deaf ears. Even if the OP hires a lawyer, or even a legal team, to fight her case in a court of law, she's going to go bankrupt in the long run. At best, even she wins, that might cover all her accumulated legal fees that will be the inevitable result of Facebook's repeated appeals and other such tactics
My suggestion is focused on the OP's mental health and happiness. Sometimes there are battles we just can't win, so moving on might be the best option That's not being defeatist, but even altruism has to have a sense of awareness.

That's all I was saying.

Yes, winning a single case against Facebook would suggest the money would win.

If there was very serious identity, health and career damage done in this case, and we can't know, then at least a possibility would be to try to get the press interested and someone may collate enough similar cases for a class action.

Ultimately people won't leave Facebook voluntarily, but it may be forced to change.
All bad things come to an end.

Also maybe write to Santa Claus, before reading a great book over a cup of tea.

Personally, I'll be happy when Facebook and social media in general end up the same way MySpace, Friendster and Orkut ended up. We'd be far better off without it.

OK, so we do have very different opinions on this. I think the OP should accept that the world isn't perfect and move on with life. Facebook is not going to change its way to doing business because it receives a complaint by a disgruntled user. As long as it continues to accumulate a lot of wealth, ten thousand letters of complaint are just annoying and ignored background noise. That's not an exaggeration, that's an offhand observation of Facebook's long history of dodgy stunts.
Conversely, you think touting idealistic principles are going to eventually force Facebook to change and 'do the right thing'. It doesn't matter who or how many people get sacrificed, as long as its for the common good. Hat tip goes to this moral high ground stance, but I just don't think this is the best option for the OP to take.
