Help Can the USB Cover Be Re-Attached if I Completely Remove It?

Even when you remove the little back rubber/plastic cover for the USB connection plug, it still stays attached to the phone and dangles.

I am thinking of completely removing it from the phone. Can I do so without damaging it? Can I re-attach it if I change my mind later?

You should be able to by:
1. Removing the battery cover.
2. Removing the screws on either side of the plastic cover.
3. Slightly parting the 2 halves of the case
4. Popping out the cover.

Reverse the instructions to put it back.

Yes, this will work. I've done it with both the USB and headphone jacks. Don't rip them off, do the above steps. There is a little rubber knob at the end of the covers that anchor them in to the phone - as long as they remain intact, you can do the steps above to reattach them.
