My new Seidio Innocase and Holster combo arrived in the mail today. I ordered it the day the preorder went live and payed for overnight shipping...little did I know it would ship from Houston to Houston :eek:, or I could've saved the overnight shipping cost. Oh well.

Anyways, first impressions are very positive. The case comes in two pieces with felt backing to keep it from slipping. The interlocking top and bottom pieces have a notched grove on the male end that seems like it should keep the two pieces together...this grove doesn't exactly click or pop when the two pieces are fit together like you may expect, but it doesn't seem to affect the hold. In the few hours that I've had it, the two pieces seem to stay together very nicely and I've yet to have problems with them coming apart when pulling the phone out of my pocket. Only time will tell if this holds up during real world use.

The case itself is very thin and provides the perfect balance between protection and portability to me. Coming from three years with an iPhone and never using a case, the Innocase is not all cumbersome like 99.98% of the other cases out there. The front lip provides just enough protection so that lying the phone down on its face will keep the screen off the ground; and the back comes up to lip just over the camera so that you no longer are putting your camera lens directly on the ground when setting the phone down.

The holster is just a standard belt clip holster designed specifically for the Innocase. The spring is firm. The clip has 7 positions. And it holds the phone very slimly and snug at your side. I detest leather slide pouches and everything in between. These style belt clips are the only thing I'll use.

In the end, I'm quite happy with the purchase. Is it expensive? Yup. Is it worth it? For me, absolutely. Pay a few extra bucks now and get a very slim, sleek, perfectly molded case for you $500 phone and (if you want) and belt clip that was designed for it. I wouldn't put anything else on my Incredible.

Forget dealing with seidio. They just burned me. I will never deal with them again. I will change my signature to warn folks of them. This is the second time they've burned me. I won't ever deal with that company again. Period. They are also trying to lie to me on chat saying they have not shipped yet. Oh but they'll give me a 10% discount if i reorder now. Gee how wonderful. Screw seidio.

Cancelled shipping on you?

They cancelled the entire order. I was one of the first people to place it on preorder and evidentially they had the wrong price in the system. They had the combo as $29.95 instead of 49.95. I thought maybe it was a preorder special, but obviously it was a mistake. Instead of processing the order they just cancelled it without giving me any notification.

So now they are offering me to reorder it with a 10% discount, which is a discount they normally have going every day of the week. They also told me they haven't shipped any yet. But then i copied and pasted this thread to them and said thats bs, heres a guy who has one already. They tried to tell me maybe he was a reviewer, i once again informed them that was not the case and so the lady decided to transfer me to a supervisor. He argued with me and tried to lie to me several times as well.

Unfortunately for them i know better. I use the exact same shopping cart they do and have done so for the last 5 years. In fact i've had 4 stores running on volusion so i informed him once again he was lying to me. So after being disgusted with them and their customer service i am now reordering with a 20% discount. Which imo is next to nothing and certainly doesn't make this alright.

Being an online merchant myself for the last 10 years i know the proper channels to take to get this matter looked into. I might not have minded had they informed me of the mistake, but after flat out lying to me time after time, i'm abit upset to say the least.

This isn't the last they've heard of me, i will file a complaint and will see where it goes from there. I have never been involved in a case such as this as myself i would have honored the price even if it was a mistake, and have done so in the past on my websites whenever a problem such as this has arisen, which isn't very often due to me being a perfectionist.

Oh well, this is just another bad company with terrible customer service. They are a dime a dozen anymore. Their reseller ratings reflect it and i'm sure the bbb has recieved complaints as well. I'd recommend steering clear of them and only deal with amazon once they start carrying their products.

That is absolutely ridiculous

It sounds like they need to hire a new supervisor, who knows what it means to maintain great customer service and repeat customers
