So it looks like we will have 3 droids on 1 account! maybe 2 droids and a blackberry. If we get the nationwide connect plan will each phone still cost an extra 30 bucks for data?

They do. But you are better getting the Nationwide Select Plans because stepping up to connect gives you data which is included in the $30 anyway.
I have a connect plan so my wife gets unlimited data, but they trimmed $10 off that and then added $30 for my smartphone.

Sounds good, I got alot to figure out by friday. 6 people 2 plans, 3 smartphones, 3 reg phones.
I think it will be cheepest to put all the smart phones on one plan and all the reg phones on the other
the 3 reg phones need unlimited messaging (2 of them), and no data.
and for the smartphones just trying to figure out the cheepest way to have 3 smartphones with unlimited messaging.

I am in this same boat, 6 phones, now on 2 accounts, one with a family share select and 1,400 mins, with unlimited messaging. And the other minimum.
I want unlimited data and probably 700mins with the Droid, no data on teh rest but need unlimited messaging and probably 1,200 mins.
The thing about using GV as one of the F&F numbers and then using it to do all the calling is interesting.
