What we know about the Dell mini 5

Well, stopped by the T-Mobile store & the manager seemed to think 'the rumor' was that it would be here this month while holding up crossed fingers.

I don't put much faith in this at all because the last time I asked THE OTHER manager a while back, he confused the 'dell mini 5' with the 'dell mini 10'. Once I set him straight, he didn't know what the dell mini 5/streak was...that was before the FCC clearance. This time, they appear to know what it is.

I then decided to call T-Mobile and they seemed excited about it, but claimed there was nothing but speculation (and quite a buzz I might add) surrounding it and there was no release date.

I tried...and still hoping for May 27th......(I just made the 27th part up...but that is what hope is I guess).

As it says in the original post, it is dropping in june as per this source:
Dell roadmap shows 'Sparta,' 'Athens' Android netbooks amid smartphones | Android Central
I do not know when the AT&T version is dropping or the wi-fi only version (actually can't remember if there is going to be a Wi-Fi only version or not).

there will be a wifi only version i remember it because im still scared they will release that before the 3g version.. it was on a slide somewhere..

ill give the mini 5 more time lol.. i highly doubt its coming out this month..

That is a great question, I assume activity will affect battery use more than screen size, but that size has to draw more. I generally can go about 4 days on a charge with my BB, but then I don't use it like it was new anymore ;)

I would like to get it through a day without charging. We should start getting some real numbers pretty soon though, like on Friday :D
