The Evo X is a better car I think, but the 8 is more fun to drive and tune. I still prefer the STi for some reason though.

I think the Evo X is much nicer to look at but the sti usually has the edge on specs am I right?

It has nothing to do with the car, its all about the driver between the STI and the EVO. I personally have an 05 STI stage 2 pro "Cat back, Chip, intake" (315whp) however my tuner has convinced me to go with a bigger turbo + intercooler. I want to be in that 400whp range.

alright you guys got me to register! am i the only one with an evo x? i prefer the backend of the 8 and 9's but the frontend of the X is just MEAN. in addition, the interior on the X is leaps and bounds better than the 8's and 9's (but still not on the same level as BMW/AUDI/MERCEDES). i might post pics when the time is right! soon we can say "i gotz mah EVO in mah EVO!"

I was car shopping late last year and was pretty close to getting an evo x. I've owned a turbo charged dodge avenger, turbo jetta, supercharged cobalt ss, and decided to go v8 this time around.

Again not an EVO, but my little love. 04 GT, supercharged (ProCharger)... It put down 383 rwhp with 9psi.

At least it's boosted, right?

I actually love the X, but I just prefer the race car feel of the VIII and IX. All the noises and the plain interior.

Yea a lot of my friends say the same thing, but I tell them it's a coincidence.

I didn't realize how many of us have boosted cars lol. Nice cars everyone. I should change the title to who's on boost!
