Root [ROM] Simply Stunning v3.2 (5/20/10)

I have run all the current roms availavle for my droid. This rom, by far is the best. No FCs, no reboots, all functions operate as they should; email, camera, gallery, orientation. Runs cool w/ Chevys 1.25 kernel with an average omap3 temp of 32.0 deg C. Linpack benchmark, avg: 10.2 MFLOPS. I think this is a keeper, that is, untill 2.2 froyo update, or suitable derivative rolls out. Anyway, thanks to Chevy1 for the flawless rom and others who helped in this release. and yes I am a newbee........

@mik3_cl - have you tried a wipe?

Is the link @ 4shared broken? I can't get it to DL.
Also, is there a way to install the HTC_IME MOD keyboard? I loved 3.1, but the ADW launcher and HTC keyboard from Fab's roms were too good to give up...

Actually i started fresh and no problems since. Thanks! sorry took awhile for me to get bak. Can't wait to see what you come with next!!!! Love the theme, any chance of green?

Not sure on the keyboard - would ADW not run on 3.2? And the link should be working, just checked it ...

Not yet - I have not yet been able to find a fix for this. From what I understand all 2.1 ROM's have the same problem - are you aware of any that do not?

Oh, no, absolutely not, im not aware at all.. I wasn't sure if it were a 2.1 issue or an issue with various ROMs.. I've only tried CM and SS 3.1..

The framework will be fixed in 3.3 so therefore you should be able to use various launchers again ... hopefully you'll give it another try!

I am wondering if someone can help me out here. I have no idea if this has to do with the rom, the .03 baseband, or just plain coincidence, but this thread is as good a place as any to ask.

For some reason the past three files I have tried to download have failed. Each one has gone to the downloads list, processed for a few seconds, then said download failed (I can't remember the exact error message). The files were the baseband downgrade (from some file sharing site), a random jpg from the internet, and the Nexbeast rom (from wherever Fab has that posted, I can't remember that either).

Even though I can't remember lots of stuff, I am having an issue. Does anyone have any experiences or advice that can help? Thanks friends!

Are you trying to DL from the phone? I couldn't get the files to DL thru Skyfire (which normally works like a champ), but they DL'd fine on my desktop.

Regarding ADW and the HTC KB, I DL'd the binary for the V.25 HTC_IME mod and it installed perfectly in SS 3.2. (FWIW, I like v.25 quite a bit better than v.24. some nice tweaks were implemented) I never tried to DL the ADW launcher.

Yep I was trying to use the phone, and I tried Skyfire as well as the stock browser with the same results. So maybe it isn't only me then. Thanks for he reply.
