Best/Recommended Calendar and Agenda Widget

While the stock calendar widget is great, it is limited in the size selection. I am looking for a good calendar widget that looks nice, provides multiple size options, and syncs with a task application like Astrid. Currently I use the stock calendar widget (that takes up a full screen) and have an Astrid widget on another screen.

It would be nice to have a widget (preferably free) that does both (or it can sync with a different task management app if someone has a better one than Astrid).

I know about the Pure Calendar widget and that seems to be the highest recommended one, but are there any others? Thanks.

I use Jorte ToDo&Memo Widget (there's also Horizontal, Monthly, ToDo, & Weekly, I also use Agenda Widget (there are a lot of choices from 2X2- 4X4).
I tried Pure for some reason I wasn't a fan.

Just search and play around and find one that you like the best. Another reason why I love the 24 refund period.

Is that a 24-hour refund on all apps, through app brain or market? How do you initiate a refund? Thanks!

Go through the market. You have 24 hours in which to initiate a refund. After that all sales are final.

From the Market, visit the My Downloads page and select the app you would like to return.

Then apps that are eligible for a refund will be marked "uninstall and refund"

Also note that apps can only be returned once, if you purchase and app, then uninstall and get a refund and download it again you can't return it.

Remember the Milk syncs with Astrid and Astrid syncs with the stock Agenda widget, this is what I used.

I don't believe RTM syncs with the stock agenda widget though...

i'm gonna try installing astrid and see if i can get it to sync. when you say stock agenda widget, do you just mean the calendar? i don't remember seeing anything about an agenda widget, just agenda view.

Yeah my bad, i did mean the stock calendar with agenda view. When you create a task in astrid it asks if you want to add to calendar.

Not sent from an iPhone...DINC!

Seems to be working, awesome and thanks.

So what's the point of having RTM then if Astrid does the same thing and is free? The only upside I see is that you can set locations so when you're near your task it will remind you. I do like that, although I never hear the stupid "moo" in the car...

I use astrid (linked to Remember the Milk) for tasks, the system calendar (linked to google cal) for events/appointments and currently use the Agenda Widget to view them in one place on my home screen. It is awesome for this purpose. However, when clicking on an event, it doesn't seem to take me to the calendar for some reason. I can click on tasks and get to astrid though. Is this a issue with the widget, or a prob with my settings? Given the amount of settings, it wouldn't surprise me to find out I missed something. Pure Calendar looks interesting to me if it would fix that one problem.

Hi! I have been using the stock calendar with my desire z, it does not sync well with google calendar and repeats the facebook birthdays and events 5 times + Its just frustrating. My old BB stock calendar would sync and not repeat - does anyone know a good app i can use on my htc that willl sync with my google calendar and vice versa?

I have tried smooth calendar but it crashes everytime. Any comments are welcome and appreciated! :)

I use Business Calendar and love it. I can view my calendar and my wife's all on the same calendar. I am red and she is purple. We always know what is going on with each others schedule.

They do have a free version you can try. I got the paid version for free from Amazon's daily free app. It costs $5.51 otherwise. But if you check amazon every day, they give away a paid app for free each day.
