What is the best browser to use?

I've tried skyfire, dolphin, and opera and like opera the best. No pinch to zoom is the only downer but don't really need it with their implementation.

Xscope is pretty great, but I'm already missing reflowed text. Also, the default browser is smoother. I prefer the tabs in Xscope by far, though. I vote that Xscope and Mr. Default Browser have a child. I will then download this child.

I just downloaded Dolphin HD and I like that I can sort the bookmarks. I just recently upgraded my HTC Hero to Android 2...but how do I load the saved bookmarks from the SD card back into the browser (either the Stock or Dolphin HD)? Thanks

actually went back to stock. trying to stay stock as much as possible - in the end it's often the best.

Opera mini blows all others out of the water in speed. If you can live without pinch to zoom, OM rules!

Dolphin HD, since it renders pages better and works with Flash lite, much better than stock.

Dolphin hd is great but you can't turn off flash. At least the last version i had you couldn't.

Right now I'm using stockwith the flash 10.1 upgrade.

how did you get the flash 10.1 upgrade.... i want that!

Placebo for people with Flash lite and on 2.1. The app is the same version, based on Flash site version ID.

People with devices that have 2.1, but no Flash, may be able to use it, or maybe not.

I believe the stock has flash lite. Me personally I like the stock browser more. I feel like Dolphin HD is loaded up with too much junk.

I just wish the "Stock" browser on the Evo was actually the STOCK browser on regular Android. The Evo's browser is even named differently (named Internet).

On the actual STOCK browser, double-tap would fit-page-to-screen, but multitouch zooming wouldn't mess with the layout. That is much better than how Evo's "stock" browser does it. In Evo's browser, the fit-page-to-screen option controls both double-tap and multitouch zoom. That means everytime you pinched in or out, the page would redo the layout and jump position a bit. Dolphin HD has the same problem on the Evo. Dophin HD does NOT have this problem on the Moto Droid, which has the actual STOCK browser. This leads me to believe the Dolphin is merely a wrapper for whatever browser comes with the phone. That's why it behaves differently on the Evo vs Droid.

Most of you probably don't even know what I'm talking about. Go play with a friend's Android phone that has the STOCK browser and you'll see what I'm talking about.

True STOCK Android Browser (like on Moto Droid) is better than Evo's "sense ui" stock browser.

So far, I'm using the stock. I really liked the Dolphin browser, but it wasn't really working ESPN's mobile site. I liked Opera Mini, but I want zoming options. Haven't tried skyfire or xscope though, might need to check them.

I do have some layout problems that pingpongboss mentioned on the stock browser on a few sites, not many. So I'm definitely open to using a different browser.

Opera blows. I don't understand why people like it. It does not support flash. I've found zero browsers that seem to support playlist.com. I can't play my playlist and I don't know why.

I like Skyfire to watch videos, I like opera I guess if I know there will be absolutely no media, and stock browser doesn't really play videos very well. I can't figure out a way to switch to skyfire from the stock without exiting out of the entire program when coming to a video. Wish I could

The stock browser asked me for my phone number so i told it to screw itself lol. I like dophin hd but it tends to crash every once in awhile. I think ill try the others now. I somehow used stock a couple of times without 'signing in' but now it's asking me to sign in again.

You can do the same with dolphin. I keep my user agent on desktop.

Ok so it's not me, coming from an iPhone the browser was driving me crazy. Any chance of getting the stock browser on the EVO, without installing a custom ROM?

I really like the Xscope browser but it seems to not work with some flash site, like break.com. But the stock browser plays it just fine, very annoying cause I dont like the stock browser but it seems to be the best right now for me.

I tried xScope and really liked it but ultimately decided to keep my default set to the stock browser. No interest in trying Dolphin...I may try Skyfire next.

I like the stock browser but love the option dolphin has with YouTube player instead of the flash player for video. dolphin does seem to be a little slower and more congested. I guess that's what you get for tabbed browsing. I think its nice just to have options.

In comparison between Dolphin HD, xscope, and stock browser--Dolphin HD was slow and just way too much add-ons. xscope is what I stuck with and it has been great. Stock browser was very fast and nice, but lacked tabs which is a HUGE minus.
