Former Behold 2 Users Uniting Under HTC Banner...This is Great!

Ya Slide_this, I just got done reading about that. My slide won't be here 'til tuesday, but I'll keep an eye on it. I can live with some wobble, but if dust under the screen? it will have to go back to TM!

I like how solid it feels in you hand!! It's gotta feel good in your hand!!! Maybe I shouldn't have phrased it like that! LOL!

I don't think bennyboy5764 knows where I was going with that statement!

Sorry slide_this, can't call you "behold" anymore!

some people have had issues with their screens wobbling, but NOT ALL OF US HAVE. i have no issues at all with my slide, but have heard others with this issue and also dust getting under top of screen, again i do not have this issue.

I have had mine since Monday and so far no wobbles and dust issues. The only thing I have noticed is when viewing email and I hit the reply button, it doesn't always seem to "take" the command. If I hit the back button and then go back in, I reply with no problem. I thought it was a bit weird but not a deal breaker.

I have only played with the Genuis app for a few minutes and am hoping it was just having a bad day. I told it to Text Stephanie and dialed CostCo. LOL :D

Now I'm contemplating on whether to get the Mytouch slide or the HD2.

Reasons for

- Having a physical qwerty keyboard is really not a factor for me
- I already have the mytouch 1.2 which I plan on keeping as a backup, both are fairly similar and the 1.2 is supposed to get updated to 2.2 just like the slide.
- the 4.3 inch screen on the HD2
- Snapdragon processor
- I hear they already have a playstation emulator for the HD2

Reasons against

- It's windows mobile
- It's windows mobile
- It's windows mobile

I really wish TMO had an Android phone with a 4.3 inch display

I have joined the dark side....... well in 5-7 days anyway.

Got my Slide free from customer support after they screwed up my multiple exchange to the Cliq and made IT my upgrade. After they did that I was told I would have to upgrade via customer support and not through a place like Amazon who is offering the Slide for a penny.

I called in and told them that pissed me off and they comped the price. I now have the Slide, a Cliq, and a Behold II.

I had a HD2 for 2 weeks. I liked the screen, but it made it very difficult to swype, drawing a straight line was difficult (not sure if it was the digitizer or because it was so large). There are no apps, it was very hard to find WM apps that would actually run on the HD2, and the app store had only about 100 apps, and most were paid. You can't really change the homescreen that much, some guy has a program to mod it, but even then its weak. The slide is just as fast as the HD2 in terms of chip speed. Did I mention there are no apps?

If you need the jumbo screen, I hate to say it, but the new Samsung is coming.

Yea I know, I ended up getting the HD2 and the marketplace is a joke. Who would pay $30 for an app? Definitely not me.

I'm not a fan of winmo but the huge screen was the deal sealer for me. I'm 6'4 with large hands and this phone just feels right. The virtual qwerty board is just the right size for me so I rarely find myself needing to use swype. I changed my plan to a basic smartphone plan so I'm still able to use the MT3G whenever I need my Android fix.
