.08 blood alcohol app

this app would be about as useless as an app telling you how many times you need to wipe based on the time you spent on the can. at what point to people stop asking "is there an app for this" and just use common sense? if anyone needs an app to tell them when they arent safe to drive, they need their license revoked

Actually, I agree with the Mod's actions since nobody has actually said that they want to use this app to determine whether they can safely drive. Further, the comments were much ruder than they needed to be.

What - like this you mean?

it would be nice to know how much i can drink legally before i drive so i don't get a DUI

And having personally seen been at the end of a drink driver the comments were not rude enough. If the OP is depending on a bloody app to tell him/her whether they can drive or not then they are not fit to be on the road at all.

Just so you guys know, and i am sure that the laws vary in other states, but you can get a dui even if you blow below the legal limit. It is up to the discretion of the officer to decide whether or not you are too intoxicated to drive. Unfortunately, once he has made that decision, it is up to you to prove that you were not. I know people that can drink a six pack and still be completely coherent, but at the same time, i know people that cant talk after one beer. The breathalyzer/BAC only helps the officer get the conviction. It doesnt make the decision of whether or not to arrest you.

That is how people get dui's for marijuana, prescription drugs, etc. Obviously you do not blow a .08 if you are on drugs but you can still get a dui. If you are driving erratically or appear to be putting yourself or others in danger, even if you have only had one drink, you can still get a dui.

If you are going to drink, dont drive.
