Swype is BACK!!!

Hey guys, I know androidtp alredy posted, and I'm not trying to step on toes, but GO GET SWYPE! here; Swype | Text Input for Screens

You may have to sign up, then have them resend you the beta invite email, but I got my invite last night at midnight, (along with my google voice invite:D)
I guess the are getting hammered, as i can't get to the register page. :(

got my Swype beta invite... glad to have a LEGAL version of swype on my phone.. hope they really do open it up for everyone tomorrow.. shapewritter is a close second to swype (IMHO).

Those that want shapewritter had better DL it from the market before June 20th, that's when they plan on pulling it for an indefinite time period. Version 3.09 of shapewritter will NOT expire and is FREE of charge

How long after requesting the invite did it take for the email to arrive?

I use shapewriter. Is this better? Just wondering.
I've been using shapewriter pretty much the last month. I signed up for the swype beta yesterday, got the swype e-mail DL today. Put it on and I am now a fan. It does everything pretty much as good as shapewriter but for me it just LOOKS better. PLUS I can actually see the small icons/symbols on the top of the keys. With my sucky eyesight, it makes it MUCH easier for me to find what I'm looking for.
I would give it the edge over shapewriter... Just hope this 'beta trial' doesn't expire...
