Unless of course you just want it gone. In my case spare parts could not remove it.

I have been looking through the *.apk files in the rom but I cannot find launcher.apk which is where they used to be.

Is anybody else's touch screen not working with this rom? I downloaded and flashed 4.1 but touchscreen has 0 response, same with the softkeys.

Andrizoids Space - **** the Haters

Go to the patches section and look for the touchscreen patch. Download the zip and copy to your SD. If you are having issues with the device booted to ROM just copy it from recovery the flash the .zip.

That should get it.

Ok so I accidently posted my last white widow questions in the general forum, and I thought I would get more responses here...

1.) WhiteWidow 4.1 tells me I'm always roaming. I have tried *228 option 2 and *22899. Neither help my roaming indicator. Any suggestions??

2.) I can still only overclock to 768 after updating to 4.1. I've tried autodetect on SetCPU and it will only allow my max to go to 768.. I have tried the overclock widget as well (same problem). I am stable on EE3.0 at 806, and I know it's not that big of a difference between 768 and 806 but I just want to get it up there.

Everything else seems to work perfectly for me so if I could fix these two things that would be awesome.

is it just the icon or are you actually roaming?
and for the OC, have you flashed the touchscreen fix? if you did then you wont be able to OC that high. the fix includes a different kernel thats not set as high.

If I go to Settings>About Phone>Status>Roaming it says "Not roaming"... But still is kind of annoying.

And yes, I flashed the touchscreen fix.. That makes sense now. Thanks

well if you cant get the icon to go away, you can just remove the icon from the framework-res.apk
can you send me a screenshot of the roaming icon though? i dont think ive ever seen it so im not exactly sure what your talking about

Here it is.. Can't get a shot of the lockscreen but it says "Roaming Indicator On" at the top of the lockscreen.

and youve tried wiping and all that? try doing a nand backup, then flashing 3.2 or an older build, then 4.1 right over top without a wipe.

also, just as an fyi....fancy widgets is going to be removed from the market soon. might want to back up that apk

Is there a way to have a faster kernel so that I wouldn't have to flash the touchscreen zip??

Since flashing the Touchscreen.zip also flashes the slower kernel, is there a way to bypass having to use it so I can overclcock to 806?

oh, not at the moment, id have to recompile a new kernel to take account for all the variables for all the different hardware. its possible, but i just dont have the time for it at the moment. ill eventually release my own kernel for it though, but im on vaca and not able to do too much work

Hey I plan on trying this this evening, Is there anywhere I can see screen shots of this rom?? Also I am coming from Ivans rom, do I need to to a full wipe or just flash?

I just finally decided to give it a shot, too. lol I can't get anything other than sms and the phone to work. haha Gonna try 4.1 though and see if it works better.

This has reached insanity. Just remember that it's one or two or some small group that messes with you. Don't wear your feelings on your sleeve. You just have to stay a step ahead and remember that many people are enjoying your ROM. Go back to the wave if you have to. Make it public, but only you and an admin or two can post.
