    Scotty, i don't know protocol, so I am not posting in the thread, but here is the link to the ftp download for RZ 2.1.2. Index of /ftp/recovery/gingerbread/2.1.2 I know you know this, but pick the mecha download. It works well, but i don't know why he hasn't updated his link yet.

    just got my thunderbolt a couple days ago, switched from htc touch pro 2. been on line lookin on how to unlock rom. wow totally different from tp2. well i just came acrossed your thread on how to and would like to buy u a beer or two and depending on how it goes possible three. this is the first time i have bought beers for anyone like this before. i can usually search long and hard and figure it out, but not this time, i found u and hopefully will make my learning curve to android and the thunderbolt allot easier then the tp2. anhd i still never unleashed the power of my tp2. BEERS ON ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im will be rooting aka flashing tb (thunderbolt) in about an hour. hope all goes nwell

    Scotty, I am trying to return to stock to return my phone for a bad power outlet. Sucks cause the phones been perfect. Anyway, following your post #22 directions and in ADB, it won't recognize "fastboot" as an external or internal command? Any advice? I reloaded drivers...no joy. Thanks in advance.

    hey Scotty I followed the instructions on the incredible gingerbread root access thread AnD my phone had the white lines after running unprovoked and now it keeps rebooting. Any info? Thanks in advance

    Hey man...you've been a great help to me in the past, and I'm needing some quick help today...

    I flashed CM7 on my Thunderbolt (the HR2 radio version) a few months ago, and it worked perfectly for a while. A couple of weeks ago, I began getting the message that there wasn't a SIM card installed. I could easily fix the problem by either rebooting into recovery or pulling the battery and the SIM card and then rebooting.

    This morning, the phone went into airplane mode and it will not recognize my SIM card even after both of the steps above.

    Do you have any advice? I'm going out of town on Friday and really need my phone to work...

    Hey Scotty thanks anyways for any help you were going to give. I guess somehow I didn't do the right rom and just loaded the stock TB one. I finally got the right one and put it on my sd card and everything is great. I'm already liking the Synergy rom just with setting stuff up in the beginning.

    Scotty I need HELP! Please? I'm stuck in boot loop. McLabia is trying to help me but everything I've tried is not working and I'm really seriously starting to panic. I love my TB and I don't believe that I've bricked it because I can still get into clockworkmod recovery mode. But everything I try from there just sticks me with the white screen...

    Hey Scotty. I had a few questions that went unanswered. If you could answer em when you get a sec I'd appreciate it greatly. Thank you!

    Is there an option in the DB toolkit that you can configure to turn off 4g when the screen is off, and to turn it back on when the screen powers up? I'm not very familiar with the I/O scheduler and all of the other options in the toolkit. I get fantastic battery life when 4g is turned off, but it is a pain to keep turning it on and off when I want to use it. Is there a way to automate it? Also what is the best CPU setting (governor) for performance and battery life? Lastly what exactly is a kernel and can you point me in a direction to some useful ones because I'm pretty sure I'm still on a stock kernel, I have just flashed a few ROMs and radios. Thanks in advance!

    Hey man, I was wondering if you could answer a question for me? As far as I can tell I haven't frozen anything on my phone that would cause the android market to just sit there and tell me that my download is starting but yet nothing happens. I'm curious as to if the market is down somehow?
