OH shoot it does too! I didn't expect that on my cheap and cheerful A13 so I didn't even check - I've never even been that far into the battery settings.
If anyone's wondering it's in settings/battery and device care/battery (where it also shows the level and time remaining)/more battery...
If, as recommended in several videos I've watched, it's helpful for battery longevity to avoid full charging (and leaving on charge when full) how can I best do that?
I have a Galaxy A13 and as far as I'm aware there's no way to make it stop charging automatically.
My next step was apps that...
Oops, now kinscreen has stopped working. Same as 'screen alive'. That worked for a little while, then stopped working. Back to screen turning off during speakerphone calls.

I would need something without a receiver dongle. Something bluetooth. Thanks for looking tho.
Also it's not just a matter of warmth, that was an example. I'd just like it for general use. I like the idea of a tactile real-buttoned way to control my screens, even the little ones. It's nice to...
I watch a LOT of video on my tablet in bed and elsewhere. It's on a stand and it sits on the bed or the side table. It annoys me having to get my hands out to control the video, especially when it's cold.
Is there any such thing as a remote like the one for the chromecast-with-google-TV, so I...
I have just now noticed that every other button on the remote when pressed causes the light on the bottom of the TV to flash, but the microphone one does not. Has to be a hardware thing I think.
I press the microphone button on the remote control and nothing happens. I can't find a specific thing in settings to turn it back on, or turn it on/off at all. Edit: I have just now noticed that every other button on the remote when pressed causes the light on the bottom of the TV to flash, but...
I often prefer to use the speakerphone feature when making calls on my Galaxy A13, with the dialpad screen on to select choices etc. I've tried 'screen stay on' apps which do work for the phone in general, but none seem to work for the phone call screen. It always dims after ten seconds and goes...
I like using the google search microphone, but it's sometimes kinda fiddly having to hit it in the google widget bar. Is there a way or an app that can have the google voice search button big and chunky on the homepage?
Note: I don't like using the 'hey google' or 'ok google' feature.
I am in the market for a new phone. At the moment I have a Galaxy J2 pro. Sure it's old and it's cheap but it's been a very reliable and perfectly adequate phone (this is my second one) - and I'm a cheapskate. Sadly it's getting behind on the software front now and some apps (banking etc) will...
After a recent update on my Samsung tablet the app icons seemed to have squashed towards the center of the screen and cleared the sides in landscape mode (pretty much my only use). The icons along the bottom used to span the entire width but now they're squashed into the center.
My Samsung J2 pro (SM-J250G, 2018) will not update past Android 7.1.1.
I have a banking app that tells me it will soon need version 8.0 or above to operate.
I'm not overly familiar with the software stuff, does it seem right that the phone would reach a point where it won't keep updating to...
Does anyone know why the order of the movies and tv shows keeps changing on the Downloads screen?
It doesn't seem to be alphabetical or size or date of download related.
In the settings area under 'Reading' there's a tickable option for 'Automatically turn pages - For Read and Listen eBooks'.
It was already ticked, but I don't know what it does.
It makes no difference to reading my ebooks if I have it ticked or not.
Am I missing something?
I'm trying to listen to a playlist (an audio book split into approx. ten minute segments) when I'm in bed as it helps me get to sleep.
Is there a way to stop playlists from autoplaying so it only finishes the segment I'm listening to?
I have an app. to stop youtube playing after a certain...
Why is it when navigating to different spots in the video timeline (for example if I want to go straight to halfway through) that I have to actually slide my finger (or mouse pointer) on the progress line/bar? It's very annoying and inaccurate.
Rather than just pressing on the spot I want to go...
I have three micro-USB devices, 2 phones and 1 tablet, all Samsung, that until recently I could plug into a Windows 10 PC and access as folders etc.
Over the last couple of weeks all three have somehow stopped being accessible to or from the PC. I've tried three different PCs with the same...
Due to limited data plan - my mobile phone is my modem - I do most of my Netflix viewing via downloads (from unlimited data wireless at a friend's place) to my tablet then mirroring the screen to the Chromecast attached to my TV.
My question is, if I instead start the downloaded movie on my...
By which I mean the full screen calendar notifications/reminders. I have, in the past, stumbled across how to dismiss them by touching the X instead of swiping across, but after a recent factory reset on my tablet I'm blowed if I can remember how to change it to touch!
I have a Samsung T590 galaxy, and after a recent update it seems Chrome and Gmail have somehow reverted to the phone versions.
I can't work out how to get the column view on Gmail (list of emails on the left, body of email on the right).
Chrome has become clunky and unresponsive too, I can't...
ok So it's off topic but related.
I have a bigpond (telstra email here in australia) email address which I managed to insert in gmail on my android tablet using the bigpond address and password. It works fine.
But when I try to use that same bigpond email with gmail in chrome on my windows 10...
