It's just not the same as it used to be. I miss those days.
Maybe the display issues on the Pixel 2 XL aren't as they say they are. Otherwise, there's always alternatives to the Pixel XL 2.

My advice: save your money until you can get a better phone with a good dev community. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment.
