what version of odin are you using?
VanVon, I tossed a odin tar with boot, system, and recovery together. Flash it just like you would the recovery.tar's.

This device is easily rooted using ioroot for 4.2.2 or towelroot for 4.4.2. Towelroot may even work for 4.2.2, not tried it myself tho.
Stock the device is great, stable, not had any issues.
From a development standpoint... its a pitfa. lol But I/we are getting there slowly. ;)

the f3/f6 jb updates do the same. I worked around that by flashing the ver b aboot on the F3 and think pressy4pie did the same on the F6. ;)
yea it gets moved later on in the script.
it gets pushed/installed to system/app, or thats where it should be getting installed to.
I know thats where saferoot puts it.
Not sure what exploits that one uses, generally if its not on xda and def if its uploaded to 4shared I wont touch it. ;)
my saferroot app needs internet access and write permissions too.
